## roles + responsibilities

Account Executive

Pixel Bakery is looking for a **full-time associate creative director**. 

You will be a part of our leadership team. This will involve leading the creative execution of projects for our many clients and internal branding work. A vital part of this role requires being a guide/resource for our young creative team.

## Responsibilities Include:

- Lead creative on every project that goes through the Studio starting from the initial discovery meeting with the client to concepting and pitching the creative through working with the team to create the final product. 
- Operate on video production sets, directing 2D and 3D animations, and often making visual graphics and writing scripts.
- Work closely with the creative team (multimedia designers, animators, videographers) to direct the execution of projects.
- Build a rapport with clients and make them feel comfortable and heard in meetings and over email.
- Storyboard and concept animations/videos in a professional environment.

The Pixel Bakery team is on the lookout a junior or senior in college to be our next multimedia design intern.

As a multimedia design intern you will conceptualize and execute ideas big and small. From social media to emails to design for animated videos, every project you work on will be exciting and requires a fresh perspective. You will work collaboratively with our small team of animators and cinematographers to create materials for both our internal brand and our 30 clients. We're a nimble team, which means you will have an enormous impact on our company and our work.

- Creating cohesively designed elements for our clients. This will include animation, digital design, print design, branding, and anything else that comes by.
- Working hand-in-hand with the associate creative director and project manager to continuously create high quality work within deadlines.

- Enhance branding in videos by creating short graphics which can consist of animated logo entrances, lower thirds, and other animations as needed.
- Availability to travel on weekends for production as needed (likely once or twice a quarter).
- This is a full-time position, up to 40 hours per week.

## requirements

- Proven work experience as a cinematographer
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (We use DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Proficiency in keying, rotoscoping, and motion tracking
- Creative mind and storytelling skills

Cinematographer


The Pixel Bakery team is on the lookout for our next multimedia designer. Weird thing: This position can be part-time, full-time, or even an independent contactor! Your level of interest and your skillset will be the deciding factors.

As a multimedia designer you will conceptualize and execute ideas big and small. From social media to emails to design for animated videos, every project you work on will be exciting and requires a fresh perspective. You will work collaboratively with our small team of animators and cinematographers to create materials for both our internal brand and our 30 clients. We're a nimble team, which means you will have an enormous impact on our company and our work.

## Roles + Responsibilities

- Creating cohesively designed elements for our clients. This will include animation, digital design, print design, branding, and anything else that comes by.
- Working hand-in-hand with the associate creative director and project manager to continuously create high quality work within deadlines.
- Concept animations/videos in a professional environment
- Creating custom illustrations in a variety of styles.
- Ability to bring those illustrations to life with animation.
- Collaborate with the entire team and support campaigns with design solutions.
- Be completely hands-on in the creative process on several different projects.
- Executing and discovering creative strategy, for our brand and for our clients.

## Qualities We Look For

Successful candidates will come to the role with a strong background in graphic arts:

- Have to be a passionate creative looking to make your mark in expanding team
- 2-ish years of either internship or real world experience
- A great print and digital portfolio of work that demonstrates creativity and execution
- High Proficiency in the Adobe CC, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects
- We need someone who is self motivated, adaptable, organized and collaborative
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field of study
- Must be a team player, literally everything we do is a collaborative effort
- Ability to switch between multiple active clients in one day
- Strong understanding of our internal brand & voice
- Mega plus: If you have a knack for writing, we have some punny client work for you.
- The ability to self-teach and problem solve.
- Ability to take positive criticism and feedback.
- Enthusiasm for the design process and attentiveness to different project goals.

Multimedia Designer

You go about your life while still trying to connect Pixel Bakery with potential clients and leads. You can live and work remotely, while still being connected to us here in Nebraska. You’ll get business cards to distribute and we’ll rely on you to make connections for us as you do your thing, wherever you are. This is the more hands-off Ambassador.

## Active

You’re more integrated into our business. We’ll give you an email, add you to our Slack workspace, and keep you in the loop with major updates. You’re also welcome to come into our office to work whenever, just like a part of our team. With being an active Ambassador you’ll be more hands-on, actively reaching out and communicating with our team.
